I have spent the last few weeks in the beautifully foreign South of Italy where my camera and I worked very hard on our relationship and I personally am very pleased with the results. These are just a couple of my favorite shots so far and I'm hoping to have the entire collection complete and uploaded within the next couple of weeks. It's taking me slightly longer, firstly because of the sheer volume of photo's that were taken (I kept to a strict 'no delete' policy) and secondly, because I am trying out Adobe's Lightroom software for photo's. I'm very wary of photo software. I'll admit that some of the creative effects can make an okay photo a truly great one. I especially like the one above where I used an antique lighting effect. But I like to think that a talented photographer can take a picture that is great without the use of fancy computer programs. But it is possible that I am just feeling bitter since the use of the aforementioned programs, to me, is like learning a new language. Difficult.
