Boxing Day. Dedicated to pyjamas, leftover food and toys! My favorite toy this year is the new addition to my camera bag...a lovely Nikkor 55-200mm zoom lens (thanks Santa!). Yesterday was filled with family, food and puppies so there wasn't too much time for anti-social behaviour but here are a few shots. Stability in natural light is my new challenge.

Stockings in our house are for decor only. Next year I suggest we reserve stockings for all things chocolate!

Taking shots of the animals was so much more fun with the new lens.

I've posted a few photo's like this recently. It doesn't take a great deal of skill, but I like the effect and I like to avail of all the coloured Christmas lights.

Danny is bigger now, but still smaller than the cats. He never stops moving and made friends with both my Ugg boots!

I'm looking to move my blog in the new year. I find it increasingly more frustrating not being able to re-position my photo's, so if anybody can recommend good host sites, please do comment.
