Budapest

Budapest is a great city and worth a visit given the chance. We were there as part of an F1 GP weekend (can't wait to work on those photo's!) so everywhere was buzzin'. The atmosphere was something special but I still managed to take a few photo's in between celeb spotting. It's been great to get the camera out again. Since losing my charger for a few months, it's been a while. I've also had to switch laptops and am now trying out Aperture with my photo's instead of Adobe Lightroom which takes a little adjusting. I've lost my watermark for now but it will be back!

Every side street looked so interesting. Not like the alleys in Belfast!

Everybody cycles on the continent but, in Budapest, they wear funny hats

We found a zoo!

These huts were absolutely everywhere. But I could never see anybody inside.

Budapest is a very 'tall' city. Every building is super high and you're always looking up towards the sky.

This is one of my favourites from Budapest. The city is split in 2 by the Danube, Buda is on one side and Pest on the other. At the very top of the hills of Pest, there is a Citadel with the most amazing views. A visit and a photo is a must.

I'm starting to develop a 'thing' for rooftops of the world. Perhaps there's an idea there somewhere...(watch this space)
There was no escaping the London Olympics 2012, even in Hungary! We got to watch the opening ceremony here so we'll not forget it in a hurry. Turns out they've won 16 medals so well done!

Speaking of amazing views...that's the Danube. It flows through 9 different countries.

That's the Parliament Building in the right fore front. A most impressive building, especially at night.
